Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes

This is a great side dish that can accompany many different things. You can even change up the spices in the recipe below to fit the style of cooking you are doing!

Sweet potatoes are a great sources of fiber, minerals, and vitamins, and they taste great!Â

Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Sweet Potatoes (3 to 4 medium sweet potatoes)
- 2 Tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
- Peel the sweet potatoes. Slice into 1 inch thick slices.
- Put into a bowl and add oil and spices. Mix thoroughly.
- Turn out onto a large, rimmed baking sheet. Spread out so that they don’t touch each other.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the sweet potatoes are tender and browning on the edges.
