Dr. Megan Bearden’s journey began in Lenexa, Kansas, where she grew up with her parents and two sisters. A lifelong athlete, Dr. Megan spent years as a competitive gymnast before moving on to Kansas State University, where she joined the Track & Field team as a pole vaulter. There, she met her husband, Miles, a high jumper who shared her passion for sports and adventure.
It was during her college years that Dr. Megan’s interest in dentistry blossomed. Inspired by a mentor, she discovered a calling that would soon become her life’s work – helping children achieve healthy, happy smiles. She went on to pursue dental school at the University of Missouri Kansas City, followed by a pediatric residency at Primary Children’s Hospital, where her dedication to children’s health took root.
